We need legislation to stop these dangerous "book nuts" Who think that because the constitution says so, they can have tomes of knowledge with anything they want in them! Some of these book nuts even visit Book stores, places where books are freely sold, and without a background check! Even adult books with vivid descriptions of sexuality that we wouldnt allow on tv, are allowed to be sold in these stores! There are even libraries, Where they can go and rent a book, and return it within a few days! Can you imagine how much knowledge someone could gain, and there wouldnt be a way to know what kind of knowledge they have because the police wouldnt find the books if they were ever raided.

We need to stop these "book nuts" with heavy fines for owning too many books, 1 book a month laws, and strict monitoring of library access.

I doubt anyone would consider this an actual argument against a Right guarenteed by the constitution, aka the first, So why do we hear it all the time and people accept it when its against another right, The second?

Because books don't hurt any one, only the anarchists cookbook but only scary people have that.

I was just thinking the other day about what invention or technology has had the most effect on mankind and I decided it was the printing press. Everything from mass produced instructions (for any number of things) to ideas had proliferated because of the printing press.
