He's just being sure that he is fashionably late.

He was desperately practicing not looking straight at the teleprompters and thus doing his normal "ping pong bystander" impersonation.

It is a symptom of his narcissistic self.

It's always fun to watch a guy who turns in a $16B deficit budget criticize the private sector for irresponsible leadership.

Fuck, at least move the teleprompters from 45 degrees off on each side.  Give us some variety.

Better yet, just feed the teleprompter feed to the networks.  Skip the middle man.

No teleprompter.

Single large screen in the back of the room.

Watch his eyes.

I think the CNBC anchors are sitting at their desk reading the latest James Patterson novel.  Does anybody anywhere pay attention to this idiot any more?

I just sold me GM stock on the slight bounce it got when he started talking.  Yay, I'm out and made a whole $6 profit.  I feel bad for GM and all its workers.

You guys really don't get it.  This is how Chicago works.  He's the boss.  Just like he told us and Congress when his non-stimulus plan was up, just like he told the opposition when they thought they were going to have input at a meeting.  He's the boss.  They can wait.  Time schedules are not important, commitments are not important.

I think no one really realizes just how evil this man is.

From the look of the market he should have cut his speech short by about 5 minutes.

I gotta tell you, I don't think he's smart enough to be evil.  I think this may be the first sub-100 IQ president in decades.

In the 10 minutes after I sold GM the stock has dropped another 10%.  Looks like I timed it right and Obama should have shut up instead of going on and on about closing plants.

Market's only dropped 20 points from when he started.

I'm going to guess the prior 273 weren't simply a build-in of his inevitable suck.

Nice thing about him being so visible is that even the market is tuning him out.
