There was a guy in a freezer truck going through my apartment complex selling steaks by the case.
I got 1 case with: 6 - KC Strip 10 - Tenderloin Filet 6 - Ribeyes 10 - Pepper Steaks (strip steaks with black pepper) 8 - NY Strip 12 - Chopped Steaks Price $149 Looks like I'll have plenty of beef to get me through the rest of the winter. 
I'm such a sucker.  They're good looking steaks though and they came in professional packaging.

I like the irony of a guy in Texas buying steaks from Minnesota from a guy in a van.
Of course, we expect a AAR, Dinner Pic(s), and at least a 8/10 rant based on something related to your steaks. |

You think these will be bad steaks? Well, unless he personally drove them down from MN in the freezer truck, I'd be hesitant about them. I'm sure that they're fine overall, I just think you could have gotten fresher stuff locally for same or better price. But, I could be wrong. Maybe you've lucked into a 'best thing ever' and I'll be the one trying to organize a group buy of these! The rant is more cause, well, this is arfcom. SOMETHING has to happen that will be rant worthy. Showersteak, ATF raid cause the steaks are without their tax tag, You'll put beans on them, or forget the bacon....something will happen.

Around here they are called Capital Meats, the shady looking dudes on parole selling steaks out of the back of a truck. I bought a few hundred dollars once, they pretty much sucked ass.
