Hey,

Here's the site with trailer and movie clips:

http://www.apple.com/trailers/disney/bolt/

Saw the sneak preview tonight.  This CG film was done by Disney Pictures, which, frankly, has put out such stinkers as Chicken Little and Meet the Robinsons.

So the wife and my 3 year old were going in with lowered expectations.  Surprise!  The movie freakin' ROCKS!

What rocked?  Only the most important parts, story, characters, dialogue.  Wait, that sounds like a PIXAR film.

Oh yeah, who was onboard Bolt?  This man:

John Lasseter was executive producer.

He showed the Disney guys the errors of their ways.

This film was great.  I'm buying it on DVD.

If you like dogs, you're going to especially love it.

Go see it.

Meet The Robinsons was a little different but it was a fun movie.

However,  Pixar movies rule the CG world,  PERIOD.

No doubt.  This is why Bolt is so good, Lasseter came in and showed them the Pixar way: Story, story, story.

It has a very Pixar type feel to it.  I liked it better than Cars.

I abhor Disney films and I think this one looks pretty decent.

For me, this is somewhat of a revelation. I have to be careful who I tell this to. Some will take it as a sign of the apocalypse.

For the record, Lasseter was exec producer on Meet The Robinsons, but almost everything else he's done has been outstanding, including our family favorite: The Incredibles.

Good to know, thanks.

Cars was the only Pixar film I could do without.

From the previews that gerbil/hamster/guinea pig/rat in a ball looked like he was a hoot.
