On the serious tip, a buddy of mine dropped an audad goat this weekend with one shot through the shoulder/heart from his AR15. I believe he was shooting 62gr Hornadys.

Remember the Marine pic with the SAW, that is really effective on camels.

Mendoza also thinks they hit the camel because they had marked it with eight or nine lasers. But it seems they just couldn't kill the beast.

But did they try stabbing it with their steely knives?

Figures after I post that, I read the rest of the article and they actually reference that song.

you should see what what the 25mm cannon on the Bradley does to a camel echo6

No, since they don't have .223.
But 5.56mm might do better, since that's what they are issued.

Their LAV's have 25mm.
Wonder what a mess a 40mm would make.

If you shoot them with beer can cannons it just pisses them off. I think 50.cal is about minimum for camel shooting. bs,

Didnt the royal family of Saudi Arabia get kinda pissy when some US service members popped at least one of their expensive as hell racing camels during Desert Sheild/Storm?

Ive witnessed the meeting of a camel and a land mine, more than once. Laughed my ass off everytime. You would think the Somali camel herders would keep them out of fields they knew to be mined, but they never did.
