Just a heads up for anyone with a Dick's in your area.

I got 4 boxes of Remington 30-30 Core-Lokts for $32 even. This is a great sale, especially if you want/need hunting ammunition. It ends this coming Saturday (18th).

Minor score: I went there with the coupon and got 2 boxes of 270 Winchester 130 grain Power Point. These are $18 a box so I am looking at about 30 bucks out the door with tax.

Guy rings it up and says that'll be 19.xx dollars. I say no that is not right, only the second box is half off, you need to fix it. He says no, the coupon rings up as 50% off the entire purchase. I showed him on the coupon where it said half off the SECOND box only, not both. He said run with it, so I did.

I always thought the prices there were pretty high. For example, I can still get 100rd boxes of WWB at Walmart for $15.72, which is under $8/50rds. Does Dick's "sale" beat that?

That is what I did. I gave them every opportunity to fix it but they would not.

I went in last night and today to get stuff

..... they have the coupons in the system as "EVERYTHING IS 50% OFF"

I made out like a bandit last night

Today When I went, the lady at the counter noticed the mistake in the system and rang me up correctly (without using the coupon), So I only saved on what the coupon actually stated.

But I assume that if my local store has it wrong, then many other Arfcomers can benefit from their mistake

...I am not one who likes to take advantage of something, but it is a large corporation that can afford to give me a better deal

The new Dick's in El Segundo, California does not carry firearms, ammunition or hunting related material. It carries upscale Old Navy, Big 5, Salvation Army type clothing. It will fail. REI is almost within walking distance.

I threw my grand opening coupon in the trash as I left.

Just got back...

1. Only got the 50% off every other one. 6 boxes total.
2. No problem with the printed copy of the coupon.
3. They gave me the coupon back and said there was "still some life left in it"
4. 223 prices aren't good enough to make it worth it.

I purchased 6 boxes of 30-30 150 gr Remington. Total was $67.44 and they had a rebate form for $10 off that total. So, 120 rounds for $57.44 or 47.87 cents per round. Also there is a deal on the receipt where they give you $10 off a purchase of $50 or more if you fill out a survey. I think I'll go back again and get another 120 rounds.

Thats what I'm doing tomorrow.

I just got 50% off 6 boxes of 00 buck. 30shells for 15.87 after taxes. Thats 52.9 cents per shell. Cheaper than dirt has them for 80 cents per shell.

I wish I could take out loan or borrow some money. I've only got enough for 400 rounds at $109

picked up some UltraMax .223 made in SD- 150 round box for $59. the total for 300 rounds was $90after 50% discount----a lot more than in the old days--this is the 1st ammo I bought in 5 years--good thing I stocked up on some South African surplus at $35 for 300 round battle pack years ago

I paid $19.99/100 of WWB 9mm bulk at Gander on Monday. Rem UMC was $65/250.

Wish I had this coupon then.

WWB 9mm is $15 a box at Sportsman's Warehouse. Pretty much the only place to get ammo in my town.

I bought some 100 rnd value packs for $25.

UMC .223 is $9.99 and Wolf is $6

This thread is a dupe but on Monday I got 50% off entire purchase including a pair of sunglasses.

They have Ultramax .223 for $60 / 150 rnds. So with 50% off it's 20 cents / round.
