I thought it was cool that the three networks all aired it. I like the idea of collaboration between scientists as well. My mother-in-law was recently diagnosed with breast cancer, and then a week later my sister was as well. We sent in $50 to help the cause.

I didn't watch it.  I'm sure it was a good cause, but the commercials annoyed me.  Whenever I saw them, and the guy saying, "stand up.  Stand up, everyone.  Stand up . . . to cancer."  I kept thinking, "And sucker-punch AIDS."

What the hell does "stand up to cancer" mean?  What a dumb slogan.
