Wouldn't a followup shot be difficult with that rifle? And don't say "You won't need one." Even the best shots miss now and then.
Personally I'd feel better with a .375H&H double rifle that I KNOW I can get a followup shot off with. |
The answer is no, not if you train.
If you look at my pic above, I'm letting the rifle climb, just rolling with it. The felt recoil is not as bad, like that.
Now, if you bear down, it won't climb like that.
I can get shots off at 2.5 second intervals. We were playing around at the range with it. I can smash a pumpkin, cycle the gun and smash another 2.5 seconds later (according to the timer). Both were at 20 to 25 yards away (any closere and you get "stuff" on ya
)
That time could be reduced with more practice.
