ETA: Seeing how arfcom has no imagination at all when it comes to firearms, and is already denouncing a movie that hasn't even come out yet because of "curving the bullet", i doubt they took to kindly to the whole gunkata thing when this movie came out.

Isn't the Beretta 93R the same thing as a 92 FA?

You dont see too many of them around but damn they are fun to shoot at the Autoshoots

Not sure about a full auto 92, but the 93R was capable of three round burst.

And Equilibrium is a great movie if you've never seen it.

The 93R has a foregrip on it, a longer barrel, a larger trigger guard, fires a 3 round burst, and has a heavier slide than the 92.

As stated, the 3-round-burst-capable Beretta 93R is similar looking, but larger than a 92, with almost no interchangable parts aside from the magazine.

Robocop's gun was a heavily-modified 93R, with a big weighted extension designed to minimize muzzle flip, and therefore allow Peter Weller to shoot it more "robotic" looking.

John Travolta had a 93R in Broken Arrow. I'm pretty sure there was one in the second Matrix movie too.
