I'm running a laptop with Windows 2000 on it and I need to enable TLS 1.0 to access a website.  Whenever I click TLS 1.0 in the box under Internet Options - Advanced - Security and hit Apply, the website and dialog box stop responding.

Updates have been installed.  I use McAfee AV which shouldn't have any impact on an application, but what do I know?

Feel free to add in your 2000 jokes.  The computer works fine for the vast majority of stuff I need to use it for and I'd rather spend money on important stuff.
