ok, moving parts completely irrelevant to cycling/firing of gun. Oh noes, .45acp in a carbine is too much recoil ahhh!!!!!!!!! |

IIRC it was originally designed as a FA carbine, and the moving parts greatly reduced the recoil in FA, and aided in accuracy. |

see, heres my problem. Is it really unmanagable otherwise? Granted the only full auto .45 ive shot was a grease gun, but come on, it aint that bad.

Directs recoil in-line with your grip to minimize muzzle rise. I.e. the bore axis points right into your hand, not above with every other design. Basically, they designed a short action that redirects much of the recoil and action movement vertically so they could put the pistol grip right behind the barrel. |
