Im thinking of getting a few pounds of tea, make a custom blend and then packaging them up as c-mas presents.

Any ideas?

I googled and found:

Looks interesting.  I have never ordered from them.  My wife is the tea nut.

Why is green tea so expensive?

Is it because it's the latest fad?

eta Or is it because the price of slave labor is going up?

I buy from Harney and Sons tea.  You can't beat the quality short of going to China and picking it yourself.

Not the cheap stuff, but good quality and they have an extensive selection.  Even has the stamp of approval from my tea-snob officemate.

One could put together a gift pack of above average tea(s), a box of the fill-it-yourself tea bags, and a digital kitchen timer from Wallyworld or Target.
