Why is green tea so expensive?

Its like brisket.... before you couldnt give the stuff away.... now that it is 'in'. It's gonna cost you an arm and and ass more then it used to. |

I buy from Harney and Sons tea. You can't beat the quality short of going to China and picking it yourself.

Not the cheap stuff, but good quality and they have an extensive selection. Even has the stamp of approval from my tea-snob officemate.

You can buy it dirt cheap at Big Lots--dunno about the quality, but my wife prefers it over all others. I guess it makes her crap good or something. She says it helps her lose weight--"slimming green tea" or somesuch.
