Look at this silly ass scope! It has phony rails on the tube!
What the FUCK are we supposed to think? You can stack accessories??!?!?!! www.sportsmansguide.com/net/cb/cb.aspx?a=395070 [ghey voice]Rails everywhere! OOOHHHHHH!!!! Howww Tactical![/ghey voice] What's next? Rails that mount on rails? You own this, you're a fucking clown. |
Reminds me of LEGOS. Want to add something? Just snap it on there!
Well, if you look at risers and offset mounts, yeah, we already have that. |
I'm going to go way out on a limb and assume that the OP doesn't care for Rickrolling either.
This is serious thread We use serious scope In a serious world. |
I put Knights rails on all my carbines and like being able to put stuff I use on them but that is pretty stupid. I guess you could mount a mini red dot sight on there but thats kind of redundant.
The most foolish place I have ever seen a rail put on is the holster and mag holder that comes with some Springfield Armory pistols. What in the fuck are you going to put on the rail on a holster? I laughed for a good minute or two when I saw that...lol |
The mag loader fits nicely on the holster rail. |
Bingo. Use the red dot for CQ, and the scope's magnification the rest of the time. |
That's where the KY dispenser gets mounted. |
I always thought that was a place to hang your weapon light when you took it off the pistol, so you could just slide it off the holster and back onto the pistol. |
Those are not rails on that scope. Its milled down to save weight. Geesh.
Also to dissipate heat generated by the NVD inside the optic.
The idea is that cheap folks can just slap a flashlight or a laser alongside the scope. I guess it makes sense for lamers who don't want to spend the cash for a handguard/RIS setup. It looks like something an airsofter would do.

i almost fell out of my chair |

I vented on Rick Rolling here www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=1&f=5&t=645036 |
My one and only AR has only one rail on it, the a3 flat top. |
Ok, so when Leupold does it it's fine, but when some one making a CQ/T knock-off does it it's stupid? Make up your god damn mind.
You sir are correct. |

Okay so I own others....but I recently acquired the -74 and I just can't help but enjoy the cheap ammo. As for AR's....ciener works really nice. |
I was gonna run two of them like binoculars. |

Takes the Binden Aiming Concept to a whole 'nother level..... |
What could possibly mount to the top of it? That's a pretty small area and the knobs block back and front.
aaarrrrrrrgggghhh!!!!! You bastard thats the first time i got RR since all this hoopla started. |
A laser attached to a single scope ring, perhaps. Pretty silly if you ask me. |

Some lights do require tools to take off. Maybe I can put a LaRue offset mount on my tactical screw-driver and mount it on the other side of the mag pouch....lol But there are a total of 3 rails between the mag pouch and holster...Maybe on ONE of them but 3? |

I saw sportsman's guide at the SAR show, they had a drawing for tactical mukluks. |

You are a Lawyer therefore you are a rich Bastard. |

+1 its for the lasers |
jThey are for lasers and flashlights, I believe.
Or maybe not. |
