There are currently bills in the statehouse to allow concealed carry licensing in the state.

At present only LEOs can carry concealed.  

A private citizen carrying concealed could be arrested for a felony and then would have to provide an affirmative defense that the weapon was carried for a lawful purpose and under such circumstances that a prudent person would go armed.  This includes loaded and concealed in the passenger compartment of a vehicle.  Weapon and ammo must be separated or locked in trunk or inaccessible without leaving the vehicle.
