I duno if the site is screwing up, or if it's this PC
(Brand new 133 mhz, Win 95, 1.2 gig HD - I can't believe I need a new one already!!!).[:)]

It's supposed to be pretty good (another ObL game).

Awsome Game. You probably don't have the necessary stuff to view it. It is either Flash/Shockwave/etc. Or it could just be you crappy computer. What is your RAM ? Max it out if you can. Since it is an early Pentium you are probably using EDO RAM. These are not the normal RAM you'll find in a store. You'll have to special order it or wait for the next computer show or find a dedicated computer store and ask. Check your manual. More RAM = Better Computing. You might also want to check into upgrading your processor. Check your manual and see what Chipset you use then find out what you can max it out at.

Also, you probably should just retrofit the whole system. If your case is ATX, then you can buy a new motherboard for around $100.

An AMD 1.4 GHz Processor (266 MHz FSB) is $99. A few months ago they were $200 and before that the were $300.

750 Mhz Durons run about $29.

AMD Duron Compatible Motherboards can be had for $45.

Check out www.pricewatch.com

If you are using PCI cards and an ATA Hard Drive you'll only need a new Motherboard, Processor, and Memory. For $74 you could retrofit it to a 750 MHz Duron with 128 MB of RAM. of course you have to add shipping and handling so it be more like $100.

ATX Cases are $12 + $19 S/H. So even if it's not ATX then you'll also need a case and Hard Drive. The Case is another $31 bringing it to $130. A 20 GB ATA-66 HD will run $66 + $15 S/H. Or in total $81 bringing the total to $210.

Motherboard: 45 + 10 = 55
Processor: 29 + 7 = 36
RAM: 9 + 11 = 20
Case: 12 + 19 = 31
HD: 66 + 15 = 81

Grand Total: $223

Site works great for me, but I'm running a 566 MHZ with 256k RAM.  I think you need to beef up your puter.

Damn, that's less memory than my XT had in 1985!

(Sorry, couldn't resist)

Hey AR15-gal I'd send you an extra 256 kb of RAM but I left them with a Tandy 8086-2, 486-SX-25, 486-SLC-66, 2 Monochrome Monitors, and an Amber Monitor. It was easier to leave the computers in Orlando than pay to move them here to Pensacola. i guess my ex-roomate has them now.

DOH! ....pardon my typo!  What I meant was...256mb RAM. If I only had 256k, I think I would kill myself!!  [:0)]
