On Saturday I had gone to a beer feast and got to try a lot of different beer from around the U.S. and the world now that I have a new fav maybe you guys could tell me some of yours

1.Stoney Creek Vanilla Porter
2.Illinois brewing company Porter from hell
3.HC Berger Chocolate Stout
4.Brimstone Irish Wake
5.3 Floyds Robert the Bruce Scotch Ale

These 5 where the best the top two I had the most. I let the wife take the count and by the end of the night I had over 20 beers in 4 hours and no hang over the next day.

If any of you guys have tried any of these tell me what you think of them.

ah, ya beat me.

my first day of college, my new roommate quized me:
"what's the best kind of beer?"
"uh,...bud?"
"no, stupid. FREE beer"

truer wisdom was never related. it's still my favorite kind.[beer]

I like Blue Moon Belgian White and an Alaskan IPA you've never heard of.  The more beer I drink, the more I realize most of it totally sucks (unless you've been beer-deprived to weeks or working in hot weather)

THE MOUSE ON THE BARROOM FLOOR

Some Guinness was spilt on the barroom floor,
when the Pub was shut for the night,
When out of his hole crept a wee Brown Mouse
and sat in the pale moonlight,
He lapped up the frothy brew from the floor,
And back on his haunches he sat,
And all night long you could hear him Roar,
BRING ON THE G**DAMN CAT!

Guinness was invetned to keep us Irish from ruling the world...LOL! Gooooooood Stuff.

2. the lightest possible canned beer i can find. at this point, pabst blue ribbon light, schlitz light.

i'm thinking miller high life light may be even lighter but i cant find it anywhere.

mmm...i think im going to get a rolling rock light out of the refrigerator or maybe a can of grolsch.

After returning from 2 weeks in Germany, I found that my taste in berr was forever changed.

And just like every German that comes to the U.S. of A., I found that there was only ONE brew that remotely resembles REAL beer (generally available)

Simpatico - from Mexico (black bottle), drink extra cold, smooth as silk.

Green Rooster (Netherlands) 12% alc. by volume.. I dare you to to knock down a 6 pack in an hour.

(note: if you are drinking Green Rooster with a buddy, it's considered polite to warn him about the alcohol content before the 3rd beer)[:D]

'belch' urp- any beer, so long as it is:
spaten
newcastle brown ale
guiness
many microbrews

budweiser does not qualify as beer. it is like having sex in a canoe: f-cking close to water!
