Today at 1130 (west coast) I watched one of our US Navy aircraft launch.
Navy is back on line.

"The sound of Freedom!"

That's what I say when they run carrier ops in the Chesapeake and fly sorties down the New River Valley.  Scares my wife, but I love it, especially when they go over the house at treetop level (I'm not kidding).

Once saw the trail man "cut the corner" on the lead in a mock dogfight over Route 81. Beautiful.
