My bride yesterday notices a lot of police activity near my home and cant get to the bank. Helicopter flying above... something is up.

So some guy holds up the bank with a knife. When he goes outside he is confronted by local PD. He starts waiving his knife so the cops shoot at him. one round misses and goes into the medical center across the parking lot hitting a receptionist.

Good news is that the receptionist is in stable condition and they did end up shooting the perp in the hand. He is ok too.

Hell in a handbasket.. When I first moved to this neighborhood 18 years ago, I think the WORST crime committed was jay walking.

Well I guess this guy failed to listen to the instruction to shoot center mass.

That would truly suck to be minding your own business one day at work and have a bullet fly through the window and take you out.  Shock, pain, fear; all out of nowhere.  

Would have been hysterical if it were a dog that got accidentally shot!

It was planned... it was Friday... she just wanted to start her weekend sooner

Now they did say that they shot his hand that was holding the knife. If that was an intended target... way to go.

They probably used that 9mm... you know.. the ones FAMOUS for bouncing off perps skulls and hitting old ladies down the block
