Could we be retaliating?
CNN is reporting multiple detonations near Kabul airport. Fire raging. Nic Robertson reporting from Afghanistan.
Only available on CNN.
Afghanistan is harboring Osama Bin Ladin. Maybe we might be giving them a small taste of the devastation to come. |
CNN reporter is indicating that he thinks he sees cruise missles
Cruise missiles.
Big fires. Maybe a fuel depot hit. Good luck from Italy. |
Quoted: Big explosions. God Bless the Free World. View Quote THE PAYBACK IS ONLY JUST BEGINNING! ONLY JUST BEGINNING! |

The claim from the Taliban that Osama bin Laden "could not have possibly been responsible" was probably the straw that smoked the camel's ass.
Hey, Osama: Here's the outgoing mail! Semper Fi! Ken Little |

Let HELL rain down on those who would harbor these criminals and murderers.
I have no pity for those who would protect them, kill them all... |
Not bad for a first, hastily cobbled-together activation of some contingency staff study. Wait until we have a little time to really hit'em!
If this is going to be war, rather than just a missile or two, we're going to have to "get serious" and put people on the ground with rifles. And we remember how that turned out with the Russians.
If we do it, it's going to have to be whole hog. And I'm all set to barbecue! Semper Fi! Ken Little |

Man, I'd volunteer myself today.
I bring the rifles and the ammo. No need to push, people. |
I say we give them an hour of continuous bombing for every life lost in today's attack.
Hell, I'll go work for munitions factory for a month. |
Who needs Afghanistan however ?
Drop the Bomb. KILL THEM ALL. Apocalypse Now. |
Nothing like the good old Navy, saw a launch like this back in '93, the question is will there be any responce due to this, or is it the end of this matter?
If it is us I hope we dont stop. Hit all of them. Iran Iraq end it all here.
Probably not US. Could be the civil war going on.
Still, burn the bastards. |
Hey, CNN is saying that it could possibly be the Northern Alliance faction going against the Taliban that are launching the missiles, as they have some, as well. (They're the ones that had an assassination attempt on their leader earlier this week by good ol' Osama)
In that case, Allahu Akhbar! Let them get some! I have a hunch that there is going to be plenty to go around. They're also saying it's not typical, though. Semper Fi! Ken Little |

CNN ground reporter in Afghanistan indicating that the attack IS NOT TYPICAL of Northern Alliance faction.
This better not end tonight......We should unload ALL of ordnance on that rats nest...I don't care if it takes WEEKS....
Where are the B-52's out of Siera Del Fuego for carpet bombing when you need them?? Bulldog Out Get some |
Defense Dept. head Donald Rumsfeld to give press briefing soon
Whoever launched them, I see too few.
Neither Ivan wanted Afghanistan so much. Level the place. |
Supposedly includes cruise missles....I dont think they have them there in their civil war.
B52s,B2s,Nighthawks,everything.
Those rats only know what they fear. Let's make it a big range. |
Level them like they leveled the Buddha statues in the mountain.
From the CNN video I saw anti-aircraft fire and tracer rounds... that doesn't mean our boys are there but IF they are... God Bless America.
I think the POW/MIA slogan is appropriate today: "You Are Not Forgotten" |
Quoted: even though I think we should turn Kabul into a glass topped parking lot these explosions seem too small to be a retalitory strike. The CNN correspondent mentioned that the opposition in Afganistan, the Northern Aliance, may be hitting the city with mortar/rocket fire. Apparently they just had their leader almost get wacked by the Tailban and so their a bit pissed and may have taken this moment to hit their opponents and get in good with the US at the same time View Quote kind of like the enemy of my enemy is my ally |

Quoted: the straw that smoked the camel's ass. View Quote I thought the phrase was "The squaw that stroked the camel's sack." Maybe I misunderstood... |
Nic Robertson reports that aircraft were heard prior to the explosions. Range outside the rocket capability of the Northern Alliance.
BIG fire. Fighters flyng.
Ammo depots hit. Another city hit. Let those students learn this lesson the Old Free West style. Not enough. |
Just on the news, its the official position of the US that the destruction in Afgan. is not caused by the US.
US Officials deny that the attacks are ours. Just on Fox News
STOP HITTING FUEL DEPO'S AND AIM FOR SCHOOLS AND RELIGIOUS LAND MARKS!
Who are our allies in that region who might be capabable of pulling this off?
Beat me to it. Let's say a big "THANK YOU" to the Northern Alliance, then. Allahu Akhbar! (because I'm sure that Allah would be more on their side than on a coward)

When President Franklin Roosevelt requested a declaration
of war against the Empire of Japan, he did not say, "Yesterday we were attacked at Pearl Harbor, and we are going to do everything possible to find out who those individual pilots, navigators, and bombardiers were, and bring them to justice." That would have been a guarantee that we would have lost the war. Those individuals were nothing more than tools of a larger enemy. Kill every single one of them, kill their wives, kill their children and sow their fields with salt. Leave not a single person alive to avenge them, anyone who expresses animosity to us over this killing needs to die also. If there is no one left but Americans when it is all over, that price is not to high. |

The Good Ole of Mr.President just now on CNN.
Treat them like they treated You. No mercy. No prisoners. |
