While this could blend into the Strip Club Anthem play list, think back to 1989.  You're driving your Camaro and just picked up a 12 pack of Budweiser at the 7-11 in your neon green shorts.
What's the cassette deck playing?

- something from Def Leppard's Hysteria
- AC/DC: you shook me all night long
- G&R: paradise city
- Great White: once bitten, twice shy
- Judas Priest: Livin After Midnight

I thought I heard our local radio station giving Def Lep tickets away the other day?

Who in the dog shit would go see those losers?
Christ!  That would be a bad 80's reunion.

Def Leppard put on THE BEST show I had ever been to.  And I've seen em all.  They fucking rocked, sounded great, crowd was predominantly female, many flashing, etc.  GF and I saw them in the round stage thing, front row.  I went figuring it would be just okay..  Better than any show I have been to.  And like I said I've seem a lot, from van halen to Tom Petty to .38 Special to Dierks Bentley to Lenny Kravitz(pre-Are You Gonna Go My Way.) to Judas Preist and all the 80's hairbands.

Big +1 on Molly Hatchet.
\m/

For the record, Journey still puts on a kick-ass concert.  They are doing with Def Leppard this summer, and yes I scored LAWN SEATS BABY!!!!

Oh, and Buck Cherry was AMAZING on Saturday night.  They channel Iggy Pop/Black Crowes/early GnR/AC-DC very well.  Highly recommended.  Lots of slutty chicks in the crowd, too.

89? No camaro. I always had Mustangs.

I did not listen to none of that gay stuff back then.

I was listening to the same stuff I do today.

Slayer, Pantera, Metallica, Old country music.
