probably another AR or two and a AK. hopefully it doesnt come soon, because i'm poor. i think we'll have a good defense against it this time seeing how we can point to the failure of the last one as precedent for not needing a new one

You see how back logged many manufactuers and distributors are now? It has been a year and a half and they still can't keep up. You may just miss out. I was an ebr guy before the last ban and I remember walking into my local gunstore and seeing the colt ar priced $2200 when it was $750 a week earlier. |

More mags and another lower...maybe two. Whatever you do, do it before November. No way I can buy everything I want before then, but I can work a plan. I don't know if the Dems will have a majority in Congress come next winter, but I'm not gonna wait to find out. Man...having gone through the first AW Ban, this sucks again. Big time!

Last year I figured I had enough in my stash to last through another ten year ban:
12 AR mags 7 Beretta 92 mags 5 10/22 hi caps Then I had my first son. Now I've gotta outfit him with guns and mags, and I realized I gotta outfit any other kids I have before another ban sets in. I'm gonna be spending for years. P.S. In case the .gov is watching, I go boating every weekend and my safe is stowed in the hull

I'm grabbing a bunch of mags and ammo this summer. Hopefully I can buy an AR lower receiver next summer and an upper in the summer of 2008.
ETA: I've got two 30-rnd mags for my WASR-10. This summer I'm getting a handgun and a bunch of mags for the AK. Maybe some AR mags in preparation. |

I'm sure the next AWB is in the offing. Fourtunately, we have time. I plan to buy t least on more Bushy and, a buttload of mags. I thank all conservatives that choose to push a Liberal into office in advance for the next AWB. Your 3rd party or "stay home" vote is appreciated by the Liberals. |

AR-15s and hicap AR-15 mags.
Right now I have 3 5.56 ARs and 1 .499 LWR AR. I have 2 more 5.56 AR's coming. I have a total of 30 5.56 hi cap mags, which will leave me with an average of 6 mags per 5.56 AR. I'd like to get that up to 10 mags per 5.56 AR, so I have some shopping to do. I could use some more AR Mags too, those are next on my list. I should also order some more Wieger mags for my SAR-3. Oh, and 5.56 ammo too. I think I'm set on pistol mags and pistols. I know I've got plenty of shotguns, shotshells and 7.62x39 ammo. |

I'm trying. Thing is, I only have a job during the summer since I'm a full-time college student with a busy class schedule. I can only afford so much. Right now it looks like if I want a handgun at all while still being able to afford mags and ammo, it's going to be something dirt cheap, like a PA-63 or CZ-52. I wouldn't mind either, but it's a little hard to get mags for them, ammo for the CZ is hard to find (but affordable), and Makarov ammo is pretty expensive. |

AR mags are just too cheap not to buy right now...
8am this morning I ordered 40 more of 'em @ $8.39ea. with free shipping.  At lunchtime, the prices dropped another 10¢ ea. to $8.29ea. in packs of 10.  Looky here: www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=7&f=24&t=342732 I NEVER thought I'd see the day when I could buy brand new teflon coated 30rd mags for almost 1/2 of the cost of a USED AK mag.

My basic position is that you can cry like a friggin baby like the liberals do, or actually go to work at the grass roots and rage agasint the machine. There is NO friggin use to stay home or vote dem, or whatever fruitbat party. I want every single person that votes counter to (R) to go ahead and post it. It would be a great tacked thread. Then, when the libs take back over and, impliment another AWB, knowing what they know now.......*Heh*... We know who to blame then, don't we? |

I'm totally in love with that idea. Lets all post how we vote. After all, we are all so just hung up on showing the Repulicans what we think!  It will be handy in knowing who to blame. I beg you that think a third party vote is viable to look at what the Libs have tought us. We stayed together. They fragmented. I'm no GW supporter, BUT I sure know that Kerry was a worse choice. I knew a guy who had a preban semiauto in preban config, the lower was worth more than I would pay for a complete rifle including eotech and all the foreend goodies |

I'm voting Democrat! The Repub's have screwed up royally. They don't know how to lead and are too afraid of hurting peoples feelings. The only time they are on their toes is when they are playing defense. And that is comming just as sure as we are having this thread and our Republican "representatives" are to blame. You can go on and on about how we gotta fight at the grassroots level. Well listen up. WE DID THAT! The Republican party got control and have ceded it back over to the Democrats. And frankly I have run outta caring. I am not voting for the lessor of two evils again. I dare say there are many others besides myself that think this way as well. The next twenty years are gonna be interesting. A few years ago I would never believed I'd be saying that it would be worse than the Clinton years, but look out it's gonna get bumpy. |
