I feel very fortunate that I have never heard of these things before. Maybe they haven't caught on here yet. If they did, they'd be an instant noise ordinance ticket though.

Quoted: I really dislike those asshats that weave from lane to lane trying to get ahead in traffic, 10 minutes and 20 lane changes later, he is only two cars ahead of me.

Used to run an old '64 Ford Galaxie with exhaust cutouts(390,750 cfm,mid-riser intake, cutouts used a cable setup, which promptly broke),cutouts exited just in front of the door. Ol' Ford could easily be heard a mile away.

Quoted: Can't believe there isn't a law about modified exhaust systems in Kalifornia and the noise they produce. I know local jurisdictions in MI have noise ordinances that would address this....
God, I hate intensly dislike some people......tryin' to be good for lent.
There are laws aginst this crap. Unfortunatly the cops need to enforce the laws and that would require them to get off thier lazy asses and actually talking to icky people like that. Most cops can't be bothered. More than likely if you want it fixxed you will have to fix it yourself. I have heard that the spray foam for insulating around doors and windows when applied to said exhaust system might provide relief.

I am sure the ACLU would argue that its a freedom of speech/expresion thing so no one says anything. God forbid we trample on someones freedom of expression rights... no matter how abnoxious it is to everyone else.
