Sat down last night and started watching a movie that had piqued my interest that I saw on Netflix. The movie is called "Irreversible," and saying that it's fucked up is beyond an understatment. First I have to say that it's french, so I know that will turn a lot of you off of it right away. I don't really care for french stuff either, but...... It's all in subtitles and starts from the end and goes backward scene by scene. It was very disturbing
 , and I can't emphasize that enough. To understand, you have to see itbut it has Monica Bellucci in it  . She played Persephone in the Matrix Trilogy <Title edit. We don't use any form of the F-word in thread titles. --tbk1> |

Eh, the infrasound in Irreversible gave me a migrane and made me see weird white spots, but Requiem was uglier to me.
Addiction is like raping one's self. Watching four people suffer through it for an entire movie is just brutal. |

hell i own audition and seriously, i cant see what everyone was all screwed up about. now if you want to see a seriously fucked up movie, watch "salo" the director was murdered after the film was released, many people say he got what he deserved. another FUBAR mvie is "Baise Moi"(Rape me) french movie, production with a xxx rape scene, and an anal gunshot(ugh...) oh and the actress commited suicide after making the film.... this movie is just gratuitous violence and brutality... no real content. its just a retold story of thelma and louise. you ask how do i know about all these messed up movies? my girlfriends best friend is a film student. oh and irreversable isnt much of anything to squeem at also. |

High Tension was another strange little French Film..Female Star is carrying around a concrete saw at the end..Whole story was a direct ripoff of a Dean Koontz novel (as in Koontz never got paid or acknowledged for it)
