Fried Potatos and Onions
You need-
Butter
Spatula
Salt and Pepper
Potatos and Onions (whoda' thought?)
Cast Iron Skillet (preferebly seasoned and well-used)
Slice Potatos into 3/8" slices. Slice onions a little thinner. Fry Potatos in butter, almost until they are done. Add sliced Onions. and cook until Potatos are soft and cut easily with a spatula. Salt and Pepper to taste. To eat as a breakfast, throw in some ham or bacon, and crack a couple eggs into the skillet along with the potatos and onions.
For dinner, it goes great with just about any kind of meat. I prefer it with a Ham steak or fried Fish.
Each time you try it, vary it a little to see what you like. Sometimes, I like to use sweet onions, and let them cook down to mush. Sometimes I like the potatos without the skins, but not usually.
Good Luck.
