Both are used but in pristine condition.
Both come with a single 15 round mag.
Both are 9mm.

Taurus is $275
G19 is $375

Which should I buy?

Depends what for. Concealed carry/defense, I'd say G19. If just for fun, honestly I'd say the Taurus 92-series is an awesome handgun for the money. Built on Beretta-supplied manufactruing machinery (at least they were at one point), with a safety that's in a much better location and a price tag that is quite appealing.

This would be mostly a range gun...might get carried once in a while if its the G19....the price is right on the Taurus and its in nice shape. Decisions Decisions......I suppose I should just get both.

Depends, how much money do you want to spend?

If money is no object then the Glock, if money is an issue go with the Tauras 92.

But more importantly, how does each gun feel in YOUR hand when you shoot it?  I would try to shoot each gun or a similar one.

Have shot them both.....a lot.
Like them both, for different reasons.

Man what I would give for a few extra bucks this pay period...both would be cool

Ask yourself these questions. How many police depts and militaries use the Taurus? How many match shooters build race guns off Taurus guns? Speaks for itself.

The taurus is a great gun for the money. Mine is 100% reliable, which my issue Beretta was not. They can also be carried "cocked and locked" if you are into that, and they have a real external safety that moves down to fire, the same direction as 1911's IFRC. The berretta safeties/decockers move up to fire.

The glock is one of the most reliable guns ever made.

I actually have both, the same as the above poster!

If you have gold teef and jewries or say "mang" instead of "man", go Taurus.

If no to the above, go Glock.

Taurus.

Excellent price.

Beautiful gun.

Much better safety than the Beretta 92.

Taurus 92 is a great gun and so is the glock, I like the Taurus better.  You can't go wrong with either at that price.

I find the Taurus easier to shoot at the range while the Glock is better if CCW. I sold my Taurus for a Glock just so you know.
You should try to get the Taurus down to 225-250 becuase 275 seems steep to me.

Glock over a taurus any and every day of the week.

Now if it was Glock vs Sig or Beretta or Kimber or HK, it might take a few minutes of thought..

Having owned both, I sold the Glock, kept the Taurus.

I would also like to add that Glocks are good for at least 750,000 rounds! My old indoor, now-closed range had a G17 for rent, and tell about used and abused.  The counter folks would clean the gun only when customers complain of "jamming," and that was quick brushing of the barrel rails with cleaning solvent, and out it goes.

E.T.A.: The range had to pay for new slide because the original cracked at 500,000.

So it really is good for at least 500,000 rounds.

You can't say a car has 200,000 miles on it when the engine was replaced as 150,000 miles.

Sorry, in my haste to key this up on go on to a "honey do" job, I forgot to mention it, yes the slide broke at 500,000 rounds and the frame had 750,000 rounds when the range closed.  The actual number of rounds are probably higher, because this is the official number of rounds from the ammo purchased from the range according to their computerized cash register, and it does not include any ammo smuggled in from Wall-Mart etc of which the owner is well aware of.

More than one person has described the G19 as the worlds most perfect handgun.

G19 over 98% of the handguns sold period
