Question: What is/should be the appropriate resposne if latinos pursuing the idea of a SoCal/Arizona/New Mexico/Arizona/Colorado takeover of America from the "occupying" , um, "American Gringos" through intifada like tactics? In other words, what should we do if the Aztlan types start blowing shit up and taking other violent actions to "reclaim" the southwestern USA for mexico?    |

I was in Los Angeles, Mexico this past weekend for business nd had to walk right through the middle of that giant throng of "protesters" in downtown. Your question is a salient one. These protests are spurned by the fact that the Gov. is apparently starting to do something about this endemic problem. If the Gov. actually acts on any of these proposed measures what will be the outcome?The "illegals" throw a flamming hissy fit when the idea of enforcing our laws is just brought to the table. What if those laws actually start being enforced? The potential for violence is very high IMO.

This would result in lots of damage to the surrounding areas and some violence, but they can't be stupid enough to think that nothing will happen to them if they were to try this shit (rioting) in rural America.
Despite the aforementioned negatives, if illegal immigrants were to riot all they would succeed in doing is turning Americans in their favor, against them. If the riots start, I'll call in to work (annual leave) and ride it out at home with a rather nice collection of weapons. Rakes and shovels aren't going to cut it against a firearm. |

I think you are seriously wrong, here. First, the Aztlan movement hates America. That means they'll get a portrayed as misunderstood heros by the liberal media. Second, I suspect a huge contingent of "root causes" folks will arrive to justify and explain the "hardship" Thei first response (whether by government or others) that results in large casualities for the "rebels" may well trigger an actual border war with the elemens of the Mexican military that have been amassing on the border. Its not just going to be a "bad publicity" moment killing the movement. There will be huge categories of folks here, mostly liberals, who will be all to happy to throw concessions at the "reconquistas" and thereby embolden them further. |

I was thinking similar thoughts. There are no Mexicans in the way there are Native Americans or Europeans. As I understand it ,and if I'm wrong please cite the material that says so and I'll be fine with that:  1) Natives were here. 2) Europeans show up, kill 90% of the natives. 3) Europeans import Africans to do the work. (Hey, natives are dead and the euro's are too lazy to work.) 4) Interbreeding between the remaining natives, africans and europeans occurs, as one would expect and that is fine, and out of these three you have current population of what was the Spanish Main. There isn't anything wrong with that, however if one wants to pull a "This is my ancient homeland and I was here first." ploy, well then the Jews have more of a claim to Palestine than the Mexicans do to the South West U.S.  That or I'm a dick.

Arabic language newspaper has been routinely found along the the US/Mex border which is used daily by illegals to invade our country.
If ever the Aztlan'ers had a reason to side with AQ, the time is now. Me thinks Mr. Fox and his country's lax immigration laws have been secretly allowing ROP'ers access to the US border through Mexico. I talked with a neighbor who immigrated (legally) from Mexico and is now a US citizen. She said, point blank, that the biggest problem with Mexico is the Mexicans themselves. She went so far as to say that she totally disowns Mexico and if she could she would even change her skin color.  She is absolutely furious at how severely Mexicans have squandered their own land.I just about passed out from hearing her say this. |

I know a lot of Latinos personally. For every one you saw in one of those protests, there are at least 10 who are not in agreement with the picketers. Most Latinos who live in the USA were either born and raised here to parents (or grandparents or beyond) who immigrated legally, or immigrated legally themselves. Most of them are politically moderate, some are staunch conservatives. Don't fall into one of the political traps that keeps the left wondering why California doesn't behave exactly the way they think it should. People of Hispanic heritage do not all think the same way or believe all the same things. |

They want the US areas simply to strip and devour them like th parasites they are, much akin to what happened in Rhodesia. "Hey, look at all these prosperous farms. Let's take them over.......why are our farms failing?" They are like a kid that sits in a car and pretend drives with no concept of turning it on, adding gas, or paying attention to the road.
