Gave my grandfather his 1st class seat and took his coach seat.  My grandfather was out to visit my family last week (Utah) and on his way home (Minnesota) a gentleman offered his 1st class seat to him.  He happened to be wearing his navy hat.  My grandfather was a butcher and was not used to this,  but was speachless none the less.  I just want to say thank you to the individual who really made my grandfathers day.  Not to mention year.  He still can't put into words how appreciative he is.  It is nice to see someone appreciate the sacrifice of the men of WWII.  

It's nice to know people like that exist. That's really something.

Listen, I'm a vet, but not a combat vet like that guy. I think I would do the same thing for any member of the Greatest Generation in the same situation. Though I served and I could have been sent to war, it is LIGHT YEARS away from the guys that actually went to war and KNEW that they weren't coming home until the war was won!!
