In all seriousness, depending on the type and amount of radiation, I'm sure a cockroach could survive better than homo sapiens. But give them enough radiation and even they will start to glow.

Ummm.....though roaches and scorpions can survive severe exremes they would not be able to survive the MEGA INTENSE Ground Zero and Near Ground Zero effects of a nuclear detonation....however, fallout and such would be far less harmful to them than us.

I heard this many years ago.
We tried it. I was at a buddies house and a roach was already in the microwave. We could NOT kill the roach with a lot of time. It has been too long ago for me to remember EXACTLY how long........but 1 minute comes to mind. Amazing but true. |
