My sister is dating a guy that claims to have been in the Marines. My parents told me some of his stories about his job and such do not match up. I met him last night but didnt get to talk to him at all except to say "Semper Fi" to which he did not respond. Anyways, he claims to have been shot in the leg in Bosnia. Im not sure if there were any Marines deployed there back in the 90's. Anyone know? I wont be able to talk to this guy again so asking him for more info is out of the question.

Yes, there were definitely Marines deployed to Bosnia. My brother-in-law was one of them. My unit was almost sent there.
