Sometimes, I've found, it's best to let your skin do what it's got to do. Lay off soap, creams, all that crap. Tell him to try washing his face with a hot washcloth in the morning. Just water. Same thing while in the shower. At night, a repeat of the same.
And keep his hands away from his face. No resting the chin in those greasy hands, et cetera. |
