This is what I have been doing all weekend!  We are national Champions in Standard Pistol and 5th overall.  The amazing thing is that we have hardly any support from the University.

Isn't the U of U administration fighting to disarm all its students?

No, the current administration is actually pro-gun....Pres. Young has even come down to our range to shoot with us.  AFAIK that whole CCW lawsuit has been dropped.

But, our team really has nothing to do with all of that because we shoot international events, a la olympic shooting.  
The lack of support comes (or doesn't come) from the student government.  They appropriate student funds to student groups.  we always seem to get screwed when it comes to funding.

At least Navy didn't win,  the only upside I see to this.   The Utah coach is a jackass.
