It's a nice city. It's kind of like a cleaner and calmer Dallas for the most part. New construction all over the place as well as nice historical housing in upscale areas. Of course it has it's areas to stay away from like most places, and if you ever watch COPS you'd probably know because they film there quite a bit.

I love it... I grew up in Dallas and then lived in Europe and in North Carolina, but Texas is home... Fort Worth seems to be the epitome of Texas, y'know? I wouldn't want to live anywhere else...

Alpine Gun Range on the far far far south side of town is pretty nice. Decent 100 yard rifle range, 33 yd range, and a handgun range. Also, all of your "Fudd" type "shooting sports"  They are black rifle friendly, but do prohibit FMJ. Don't worry, Wolf makes hollow point ammo!

are you kidding? LOL... this is Texas. several local indoor ranges, as well as outdoor... once you know which part of town you're gonna be in, let us know, and I'm sure you'll get plenty of recommendations... |

Fort Worth is one of the littlest-biggest cities and it is were the west begins. Fort Worth is a VERY cool town and SO much different than Dallas.

Went to Loadmaster school there. Loved the place. been back many times and never get tired of it. The women there are gorgeous. Downtown Ft. Worth has a bunch of cool bars, etc. And then there is the food. Mexican, BBQ, steak...

ate there friday night the place reminded me of the "bar scene" from Star Wars anyways, been here for 43 of 45 years good place, jump in the waters fine, and we finally got plenty of it

Welcome!! There's also a huge new Cabela's North of town near Alliance Airport. Lots of Black Hills and other bulk ammo there. |

Grew up in Ft Worth. 6/10 of the Miss Americas came from Ft Worth during the 80's IIRC. Needless to say, very rich in that department
