Is $699 a good price for this? I haven't been able to find it cheaper anywhere.

I think it's a good price. Might be able to do better since it's almost the end of the winter season. I don't have a Poulan but I have a 30" Cub with and 11 HP think it's the same motor and I paid more. 1st year I had mine I used it a lot. Whatever brand it sure beats shoveling!!!!!!

Check that price against the same specified Sears Craftsman and Husqvarna models if you can - they should all be identical except for paint and stickers because they are all Electrolux.

I don't know about their snowblowers, but I had a Poulan lawnmower for about 9 years.

Have to give them a huge thumbs-up on quality.

Worked like a champ until someone stole it.
