im watching Lord Of War right now with Nicolas Cage. i give it 2 guns up!  this movie is badass and i recommend it. check it out if you havent watched it yet, pretty cool. its out on rent now. |

I rented it, after reading here that despite the Hollywood anti gun crap, it had entertainment value for gun owners. It was ok, worth the rent with a couple laughs, but did have alot of Hollywood antigun/anti-American crap n the final minutes.

rented the movie, watched some of it...turned it off...it sucked ass...
i expect more from a movie that has a character as an arms dealer.. too much anti crap in it... |

I thought it was ok. I must not have been wearing my tinfoil at the time. I didn't get a huge anti-gun, anti-American vibe from it.

yeah. at one point the movie totally reminded me of Blow. im almost to the end of Lord of War right now ETA i just saw the final ending, and it says "based on actual events" so... i wonder how well based it is or if that is just B.S. but it could be like in the movie Blow, maybe Nicolas Cage did play a real person in the movie. |

Hyped as a dark comedy- that would have been good. Instead it was a preach 'em mid 70's early 80's made-for-TV style morality tale. Liked the start though with the traveling ammo. Definitely sucked a lot of ass.

I expected more of an action movie...didn't get it. I wouldn't buy it for the home collection.
