There was a lady at the Tampa Fun Show who was selling stuff that her father had made that was very similar to that.
She had chests and coffee table boxes. Some of them were eye popping! I wish they allowed cameras in there! (She wasnt bad either!  )

+1. You'd have to enclose it in glass or acrylic otherwise it would be a total bitch to keep the dust out of but it would be an amazing addition to a room |

No idea, I'm guessing not as long as one may think. I do wonder what such a huge slab of Teak goes for........ ......given its about $18.00 per Ln ft for 6"x3/4" stock. |

Teak is a pretty expensive wood to be doing that with it. But I've made some AR furniture with mesquite. |

There is always somone out there better than you.
fuking a.......That's alot of Teak. I used to sand Teak for a living. I hate Teak. fucking oily, sensitive wood. shows sanding marks. |
