that about sums it up. They were interviewing a few now famous porn stars (no longer on the amateur circuit) and they (females) got into it to pay off debts and then they realized how much money they were pulling in by working everyday and stuck with it.

I have pondered that question before, myself. I don't know what the main motive is other than money, but in order to go through with it, they would have to have a complete lack of sense as to what's good for their long-term happiness, coupled with no self-respect (and no brains). Tiffany: Self, I really think the money, attention and fun of doing xyz on camera will make up for the fact that it will ALWAYS be available, floating around out there, at any particular moment able to make its way back into my life, when I least expect it. Plus, I want my dad, brothers, cousins, friends, kids or anyone who knows me to see what I'm like doing xyz. That sounds nice (insert valley girl giggle here). Yup, sounds like a plan...

I See hot hot hot hookers on a nightly basis at my place of work. They come in groups of 3 or 4 and about 5 minutes after they come in guys are buying them drinks.....after about another 10 minutes some of them are walking out the door and up to their hotel rooms. You may also need a movie permit (depending on the location and the city you're in), and you'll need a photo copy of her state-issued ID for your records. And if you're in the PRK, you may also be legally required to have STD testing done and on file. The latter is one of the reasons why the industry is so consolidated in the LA area; they have the infrastructure in place to support it, and it's everyday routine there. "Intent" (getting laid vs making a film for profit) is a huge part of the law, and whether certain protections of the law will apply to you or not. Oh, and it should be noted that there isn't much cross-over between hookers and porn stars. They each usually dislike the other, and make it a point to distance themselves from eachother. And when you're talking numbers of sites, it's probably more like 200,000 not 2,000. Even that might be low. Blame it on MTV, reality shows, etc. In this day and age, most young girls want to be an exhibitionist like the MTV sluts they emulate. |

I would disagree with this part. When I lived in Vegas I constantly saw ads in the papers for the brothels where "XXX Star Well Known Name is at the Bunny Ranch for 2 weeks" or other porn stars at other brothels. I would say they rarely walk the streets, but that plenty go to brothels to work. |

One of the most disturbing trends is the rise of "Gonzo" porn in the mainstream, thanks in part to the internet. "Gonzo" is taking the hottest girls and pushing the limits of decency, and it just happens to be the most popular niche in porn. Most low budget porn websites try to copy the style of Gonzo's unique blend of hot women, extreme sex, and degradation. Here is a article about a girl who was exploited by both her loser boyfriend and a well known porn website to earn money for an abortion.
