he's the host of Top Gear on Discovery. No this isn't a mass e-mail circulating on the internet, it's some trivia I found while Googling his name.

-Married to Frances Catherine Cain since 1993

-He recieved an honourary doctorate from Brunel University.

-His full name is Jeremy Charles Robert Clarkson

-Jeremy was hit in the face with a pie by a protester whilst collecting his honorary degree for services to engineering from Oxford Brookes University

- One of his favourite bands is rock band Curved Air.

-Jeremy has a dog multiple dogs. One of which is named Genesis, presumably named after the band of the same name, of which he is a fan

-Jeremy is 6' 4" (1.93 m).

-Jeremy is notorious for his outspoken opinions about all things including cars

-He purchased one of only twenty eight 2006 Ford GT-50s imported to England.

-Jeremy sold his Ferrari 355 Spyder to purchase a Mercedes-Benz SL55 AMG which is one of his favourite cars

Top Gear is the best show on cars ever. I would sell a 355 Spyder to buy a SL55 AMG. IIRC Sting was in Curved Air. He struck me as a prog rock fan. He also hates American cars.

Discovery doesn't do the show justice. Get the original BBC shows off a torrent or something. Totally worth it.

It's a GT40, not a GT-50. Yeah I knew that too.

Actually the new ones are only called Ford GT..Ford doesn't own the rights to "GT-40" anymore..how that happened is beyond me

ETA...Why Ford can't call it a GT-40
