I just called and emailed World News Tonight and ABC News as well as my local ABC affiliate to voiec my contemp and anger with their decision to run that propaganda video.

It's a propaganda video produced by the insurgency allegadly depicting the targets of 'Juba' the Baghdad Sniper. the video was made with a long lens video camera and shows American soldiers going down after being hit by the sniper.
Tokyo Rose would be proud of ABC News. I f*&king shaking Mad right now!!!

The ONLY reason a network would run that vid would be to undermine the war effort and the effort of those brave soldiers in Iraq. It was despicable. I was sitting in a restaurant watching ABC News with the sound down and it took ALL the self control I had not to toss my mug of beer through the f*&^king screen. God Damn ABC News.

The article seems pretty fair. "US military says there's no Jubal. Opposition says there is, and have released a video to back up the claim" And there's nothing wrong with the video, unless you're in denial that there are snipers out there who can kill our guys.

This Jubal dude likely isn't one sniper....but a group of snipers. This is just propaganda most likely, similar to the mysterious Colonel Toom who supposedly flew for the North Vietnamese and was their leading ace with 13 American kills. As it turns out, Toom likely never existed and the kills credited to him came from several pilots.

Is anyone else pissed that the damn press is allowed free rein on this War against Terror? Someone needs to shut them the fuck down. They always show the negative stuff, the wounded soilders, the dead children.
Well I think the press is anti-war, yes. They don't give a damn about the troops. they just care about ratings. It is such crap. You won't see them showing US doctors performing free surgery on Iraqi children, saving lives, The First Lady is setting up a education system for women in Afghanistan...how many of you knew that? Likely few, because the news is all negative. It's war, shit happens. Kids die, cry me a fucking river, their parents should have had them in a safer place instead of using them as body armour. I say all this because I have been there, and seen it with my own eyes, twice. Once in Iraq, once in Afghanistan. Total of 10 months. My brother has seen it as well, spending 14 consecutive months in Iraq with the Big Red 1. -he took a 107mm IED on month 12, and lived to tell about it. Fuck Iraq and Afghanistan. Nuke the damn place. |
