Starting with the break up of my ex on 09-17-2005, since then I have had alot of pie and may have found a new chick to consider dating seriously.

Followed by two consecutive car accidents not my fault, hit in the rear twice in one week first one no damage, second one got a new truck.  

One Speeding ticket, My fault owned up to it paid the fine doing the driving school no violation on my record

Thought that I had lost my job, My company informed us that they would be selling or closing the doors and the outlook was bleak they left us hanging for 2 months without any real news, finally announced that they had sold us.  So as a reward for our loyalty we got 8 weeks worth of pay as a transition bonus.

I have had numerous neighbor problems see My draw down thread and my thread in team about my shitty neighbors.  It is finally starting to quiet down in the neighborhood even though demented neighbor boy still glares at me, usually he see my Glock on my hip though and is smart enough to stay the hell away.  




Sooo all in all this has been a CRAZY 6 months but things are starting to settle down to normal again.  I am relaxing and coming down from the stress, the only thing that has kept me sane over the last 6 months is pie, and booze.  Soo to celebrate it all being over and done with I am going on vacation.,



7 Nights on a cruise in the Carribbean, and I am leaving on March 5th Soo that is pretty much all I just want to PARTY.  

Ohhh yeah and Arfcom thanks for providing a place to vent.

That stop wouldn't be in Boscabel would it? That's where the resort I am going to with my GF and her family is.

LOL!!  I went on a week long cruise with my wife and guess what??  I met up with an arfcommer on the ship!!

You can't really get away!!

What line did you cruise on and where did you go?  This will be my first cruise and my first vacation in 4 years. Ohh yeah and what Arfcommer did you meet on the boat?

I kind of tried to put the positive spin on everything other than the down stuff everything was pretty much a blur it all just happened really quickly, and things are just now starting to come together.

We cruised out of Charleston SC, a beautiful city by the way!!!

We were with National Cruise Line on The Majesty.  We got married on that ship back in '94.

We went to Grand Caymen, Cozumel, and Key West.

Grand Caymen was nice, very touristy at the dock area!  We did not have much time there, we went on a snorkling excurison which lasted about 3 hours.  Lots of fun, we snorkeled around a coral reef and later at a sunken ship.  Kinda hot there, it is tropical after all!!

We loved Cozumel!  We did an excursion to a little "resort area" called Playa Mia.  On the beach, tons of sea shells under the sand, beautiful beach, music, chairs in the sun, lunch buffett (very good), all the domestic liquor/beer you could drink, water sports, etc... for $55.00 per person.  Best deal on the entire trip.  Had a blast!!

Key West has changed a lot since we were there in '94.  Too touristy for me.  Neat walk up bars though.  We only had about 4 hours in Key West.  I would rather not go back there since it has gotten so commercialized.  It was neat when it was like a little village.  


Be sure to try all the food on the ship, some you will not care for, but the majority of the food will be excellent.  They charge for alcohol, so be prepared to pay out some bucks for the booze.  We ordered a couple bottles of wine and had them hold it for us and serve it at dinner every night.  The staff on cruise liners are top notch, you will be impressed!  Room service is frigggen great too at 3 am!!!

Be sure to check the itinerary they leave in your cabin every night, plan out your next day.  

We had a lot of fun in the karoke bar and the casino.  You will have a lot of time to explore the ship, do it , it will be fun.

That is funny I am going to the same place as well as the snorkeling.  

Playa Mia was nice, they even have a shitty little zoo with all kinds of animals.  Check it out.  Cozumel's docks were wasted and we had to take tenders from ship to shore and back.  They have guys on the tenders selling t-shirts and jewelry.  Save your money for the shops on shore and always haggle, walk out out of the shop at least 2 times!!!    They will lure you back in for a better deal.

Budget your spending on the ship, it will add up quickly and you may not like your bill at the end of the trip!!
