Spend the money on good running shoes and run. Use the difference on a new gun or more ammo. Or both.

Ever think of a Schwinn AirDyne instead? Gives me a great workout for a lot less than $1500.

why is it if i walk across a field fairly fast i get winded... but i can do the thread mill for a while before even breaking a sweat? < tried it at varies speeds.. > end of thread hijack.. |

flat field... grassy ...
damn i think i just answered my own question... ... maybe i have to lift my legs just a little higher each time due to the grass,,,, and the thread mill is pretty much putting one foot in front of the other .. even using the incline option... its "diffrent" walking that field then 30 minutes on the machine then again sometimes the machine is the only option due to time weather... end of thread hi jack...  |

and are your shoes different? Grass offers more resistance than a perfectly flat treadmill. |

A side note on treadmills.
We had the Pacific Shoreline Marathon in Huntington Beach yesterday. The woman who won, Nadia Noorzai, of Irvine, CA only trains on a treadmill.....2:57. |

I just ran on my Smooth 7.1 this am. Very well made, a runer's treadmill, not a walker. Built to take a beating, very solid, very heavy. |

I have a pacemaster and Love it.... It's was $1600.......
It's a simple thing. Run on them, cheap one kill's my knees... You can tell the difference in about 5 minutes of running... Most store's let you try before you buy......... |

I would have to highly recommend "Smooth Fitness". I bought one six years ago and is still running perfect. The motors have a ten year warranty, but I have not needed to use it so far. Mine gets a lot of use, between me, my wife and even my brother comes over to use it a few times a week. They have all different price ranges, check 'em out..... SMOOTH FITNESS
