I never understood what happened over there, the war ended when I was about 9. I was doing some resaerch and found this site.
Add another great achievment to the list of Jimmy Carter's. His refusal to end sanctions causes the fall of an independant democracy to Marxists.
Rhodesia was a British colony that declared it's independance in 1965. So, what did we do to help them, sanctions and embargo, unbelievable.

So, while we were fighting Communists in S.E. Asia, we were installing Communist in Africa.
