I probably wont be buying one IMMEDIATLY but I will have one this year, maybe early next year at the latest!
Can't wait to see 'em at my local fun shops

Besides caliber swap to 7.62x39, what can it do that a piston AR can't?

I've been waiting on them, good old Robinson and their promises. As soon as they are out I will get one. Maybe it will work great and be the next "big thing" maybe it will be a POS, I'm going to find out for myself.

looks like about 1600 +/- after adding the sights and a side folder.

Last I was told was each conversion would be $400. I have wanted one for almost a year but with the FS2000 coming out, I don't know which will get my money.

i'll probably grab one up. i think an XCR with a side-folder and a 10-11" barrel would be a helluva handy weapon. that said, it kinda throws me a bit that for the price you don't get any sights... |

The only thing I want from Robinson is VEPR-IIs and some bloody folding stocks for them.
