I'm looking to buy at least 20 special 308 rounds.

No powder and struck primers loaded with any kind of FMJ

OAL must be between 2.77 and 2.78

I need 20 or so of these "dead" rounds for function testing the beltfeds.  I don't reload and feed testing with live rounds is a risky, if not colossally stupid idea.

Can anyone help?  I'll make it worth your wile $$$

Matt

you will also need to have the rounds crimped.  If I had the components I would do it for you.  Email me tomorrow and I will check to see if I cannot find the materials.

Why do I need them crimped?

I have found if not crimped sometimes when the bolt comes forward to seat the bullet, the brass is held in place and the bullet goes forward.  This is the same method most of us reloaders use to unload rounds.   It looks like a clear hammer.
Also you might not get the rounds to .01, most FMJ have more play in them than that.

Easily done, except I don't have any FMJs laying around.  I could easily load up some Hornady 168 grain HPBTs though to your specs.  It would take but minutes.....

I dont think HP's will feed right in the 19

Do you have the stuff to load up 20 or so 7.62x39 dummy's for another BF of mine?

You could try snap caps,a little pricey for 20 but it should work.

Sorry, I don't have any 7.62x39 reloading stuff.  Let me look around my reloading bench to see what I have.  I can probably pull some SA surplus I have, dump the powder, deactive the primer and reload the bullet.  That ammo is cheap....

I can do it, email me your shipping info.  I've got a few brands of brass, lots of dead primers, and some surp .308 FMJ I can pull heads out of & stick in empty cases.  You'll want them crimped, for sure.  I can also do the 7.62x39.
Empty primer pockets ok or spent primers needed?
