It's the one about the Episcopal priest who pops Vicodin, sees Jesus, and has a gay son, a heterosexual horndog son, and a daughter who sold pot to raise money for making comics on the internet. It's suggested that his wife is a drunk. His mom has alzheimer's, and his father (a semiretired bishop) is banging the current (female) bishop.
The American Family Association is up in arms over it.
I didn't find it particularly offensive, and I am a devout Episcopalian. I did find the level of disorder and wreckage in the guy's family almost comically implausible. The character has a doctoral degree, makes good money, has been married 20+ years, and knowingly entered a profession that focuses on teaching, compassion, and decency. I find it difficult to imagine that a person like that would have such a train wreck of a family. The gay kid is apparently fine, but the other 2 act like they were raised on the street. Usually, you get kids like that by being completely oblivious to them - not by maintaining a stable home with a stay-at-home mom.
