So how long will it be after they come out before there is a car chase where spike strips are used?Since they don't work because there is no air to begin with, will law enforcement and politicos try to ban the tires except for LEO use on the grounds that they cause a hazard to LEOs in a chase? Sad to say, the first time it happens I can see it already.

Helpless, and inocent little children die in a car crashes caused by blowouts... With airless tires blowouts would not happen.
A ban on airless tires would make politicians into baby killers. Their are other ways to disable a vehicle, besides the tires... Their are devices that can be deployed under the car to electronically disable the engine... |

4-bbl carb, hardened ignition system, airless tires = great backup vehicle in case of a nuclear holocaust.
