I need to create a simple spreadsheet.

Column 1 is the item
Column 2 is the cost of the item
Column 3 is a running total of the cost of the items

Anybody know how to do this?

I haven't used quattro but here is one simple way of doing it that should work in any spreadsheet

Item --   Cost --    Running Total
A1    --    A2    --      =A2    (cell A3)
B1    --    B2     --     =B2+A3   (cell B3)
C1    --    C2    --     =C2+B3   (cell C3)

Basically the same for most spread sheets.

Thanks, that worked...never saw the 'sum' function in the list of 1000 different operators it offers.

Wow. Is Quattro Pro still around?

I haven't used that since 1995.

Then Excel showed up and fucked it up for everybody.
