I haven't used quattro but here is one simple way of doing it that should work in any spreadsheet
Item -- Cost -- Running Total A1 -- A2 -- =A2 (cell A3) B1 -- B2 -- =B2+A3 (cell B3) C1 -- C2 -- =C2+B3 (cell C3) |

Thanks, that worked...never saw the 'sum' function in the list of 1000 different operators it offers.

Wow. Is Quattro Pro still around?
I haven't used that since 1995.  Then Excel showed up and fucked it up for everybody.
