It takes about 4-24 hours for email sent through ARfcom to reach me.  I just decided to disable my email since it was causing me a headache.

yeah I've disabled mine too, as it is just not worth using for the headaches it causes.
I asked for help with it a few times and got no response.
now the whole email program doesn't even look the same anyway. no cool color schemes or anything.

Would this have anything to do with me not getting any e-mails sent through the site..say when I have something for sale and no one can get a e-mail to get to me and they are bounced back to the sender...

Yahoo flags all mail from ar15.com as spam and sends it to the spam folder.

I don't have yahoo...it was working on Friday and then it stopped again...

That was just a general statement. If Yahoo has spam listed ar15.com I'm sure other mail services have as well.

I just tested the "email" user feature. It's working for me now. For some reason Yahoo didn't flag it as spam  like the arfcom e-mail server did.

I sent an email 3-4 days back and it said that it bounced.  It was on yahoo.  I was asking if you folks had received my check to re-up my account that I sent little while back.

1G: Yahoo flags all mail from the ARFCOM mail server as spam and sends it to the spam folder. Why is ARFCOM mail "spam listed?"

What is your question?

I'm done asking questions...I have asked everyone from TBK1 to Goatboy to Striker why I cannot get e-mails from here and only here.

I have turned off every spam blocker that I have acess to and my ISP has told me that AR15.com is not on any of their spam lists.

This started last December and has not worked since. I do not like conducting any EE buisness through IM's.

It kinda sucks that I choose to pay for a Team membership and support the site, yet I cannot get a single e-mail sent from anyone here.

Dog1, Create a Yahoo or G-Mail account and update your registered e-mail account in your profile. Test it and see if that works. If it does then change it back to your preferred original e-mail address and see if that works.

Send it to [email protected]

That's where I sent it the first time.  I'll try sending it using hotmail.

We have close to 100,000 members and you are the only one that can't receive emails?

ETA - I looked at your email addy, I do seem to remember them not accepting our server generated emails.  That is a block on their end just like AOL does.

Can someone on Staff send an e-mail to

[email protected]

And again request that AR15.com be un-blocked?

We are awaiting our own new mail server and will see what takes place then.  In the meantime you can always list your email in your EE threads, like this:

For any questions, problems, lewd offers please email the man that handles this at [email protected]

I thought about that, but considering that everyone will see it,  I'm not looking for any more wang enhancement offers or sex with teenage girls..

It's getting through.

I sent another one about two days back and it said the mailbox was full.  Can someone look into my membership check.  It' been 3 weeks now.  Not sure if this is unusual or average.  I'm really starting to miss the search option.
