Pretty Wild. No one dies.

That air-dropped runaway vehicle is amazing, a miracle it did not run anyone over on the drop zone. Same for the cigarette-roll payload drop that plumetted to the deck.

And the trooper who landed in the tree - ouch!

Almost makes me glad I'm a Leg!

Put the link in google and click the result to view or right click and save as to download the clip to your hard drive (It's WMV format - MS media player can play it.)
Don't hot link it or they will change the link.

If you hot link, they can back trace it and they will change the address in a short time - then no one can see it. Direct download allows you to view without the ads and spam.

It's on uselessjunk.com if you want to see it there, but that site is not work safe (Porn ads).

I would guess the heavy equiptment drops are successful 95% ( a good drop )

Looks like they were testing types of heavy drops with people standing on GMC CUCCVs with cameras.  The CUCCV predated the HMMWV 1980's.  They added in a few combat jumps and a halo jumper smashing into a truck for some reason.

Was that a freeway rated forklift?

When I was stationed at Ft. Sill the airborne artillery would drop in for live fire exercises.  More than once I saw an artillery piece hit the ground and flip a couple of times.  The crews would run over, right the gun and then set up and live fire it.  I'll bet that the pucker factor was about 9 or 10 when they fired that first round.  You could always tell the airborne artillery pieces, they had rollbars welded onto them.

I saw a Sheridan on the DZ after it burned in...pretty funny.

Watched a guy in my Company burn in one night...not funny.
