Even if you dont need it.

I do this with all my gun stuff, if its real cheap I'll get it, even if I havent been looking for one, I need it.

This week I grabbed a powerdill and a heavybag setup since it was cheap, havent seen any good gun deals.  Maybe in the local sale paper tomorrow if Im lucky.

Yup.  Last year I got a whole bunch of bakelite, slabside, and chinese AK drum mags for super cheap.  Too bad I was broke and had to sell them all, but at least I made a little easy money on them.

I tend to do that with toilet paper, toothpaste, laundry detergent, bottled water, cup of noodles, etc.  Occasionally if it turns out that i need it as well, the better.  For example my digital camera just took a crap now I'm eyeing a nice 6.1 Megapixel Kodak for just a hair under $200.

ETA: Oh, we're talking about gun stuff?

I did that with those Starlight gun cases.  I knew I should have ordered 10k or 7.62x39 when it was cheap

I've fucked up so many times when I've seen a good deal on something and balked, thinking "Crap, I really don't want to spend the money" only to NEVER see that item or price again.

I still do it, but not as often.

Only if I need.

quality>quantity
I have sold/given/thrown stuff away that I think is potentially still useful but redundant or obsolete.

I hate clutter.

Well It goes into the stuff I got, get a pistol at a real good price, shot it, decided I wanted something else more, traded it towards a gun that I wanted more.

Yeah, I made around 3 or 4 hundred bucks buying and reselling those online.  I think I had about 17 of them stacked in the garage at one time, after I had bought all the remaining ones they had.

I found you can fit 6 in the backseat of an Impala SS if you try.  I sold them here for cost plus abit to make a few dollars.

I'll buy almost anything gun related if its cheap enough, as long as I know I will either use it, or sell it for profit.

I just bought a bunch of HK G3 mags, even though I don't own a rifle that can use them. Paid $1 each, and they are "as new".  However, I do plan to buy an HK varient that uses them in the next year or so.

Usually not, because its usually cheap after I bought expensive shit and have no money left.

Reminds me of something my dad told me once;

Son, if they were selling steamboats on the Mississippi for a dime a dozen, all I could do is run up and down the banks yelling "That's cheap, that's cheap!"

Yes, which is why I'm up to my ass in M16 magazines, but only have one AR15.

I have an AR10 habit, so from my perspective $12 is pretty much free.

I only stock up on staple items if they're cheap.
Food, ammo, beer, etc.

I've bought a lot of cheap shit that I had to sell to buy the right stuff.
Now, I have a list I keep in my pocket.
If it's not on the list, I pass it up and stick with the plan.

Maybe a grammar and spelling textbook should be on your shopping list.
