When I go to cnn.com, which is my home page, all I get is a white screen with the words "do you yahoo?" in black.

Any ideas?

Wipe the hard-drive clean, and buy a router (to act as a firewall, and learn how to configure it), and stop visiting chezzzy porn sites

I'm thinking you should stop going to cnn.com

problem solved

one thing you can try is to go to your (if you are using WINXP) C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc directory and open up the hosts file in a text editor

it should only have

127.0.0.1       localhost

in it that isn't procedded by a # character at the begining of the line.

You might want to try running Spybot S&D, Ad-aware, SpySweeper
